  • LVP is 100% waterproof — but your subfloor still needs to be level. Even small dips and high spots will show through over time and cause planks to crack or separate.

  • No moisture barrier is needed under LVP on a wood subfloor. LVP is already waterproof. A moisture barrier between LVP and wood can actually trap moisture and cause problems.

  • If you have a concrete subfloor, we recommend a thin plastic moisture barrier sheet to protect against ground moisture migrating up through the slab.

  • Trim and molding are included in your install. We finish every edge with baseboard trim or transition strips so your floor looks complete.

  • We pull old flooring before installation. Takeup of existing carpet, laminate, or vinyl is part of our process.
