General Questions

How do I know which floor type is right for my home?

It depends on the room, your lifestyle, your budget, and your subfloor condition. LVP is the best all-around choice for most homes. Tile is best for wet areas. Hardwood is best for main living areas where you want the real thing. Laminate is a smart budget choice for dry areas. We'll help you decide at your free estimate.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Always. We come to your home, measure the space, inspect your subfloor, and walk you through your options — no charge, no obligation.

How long does flooring installation take?

Most rooms take one day. Larger jobs or jobs requiring significant subfloor prep may take two to three days. We give you an accurate timeline at your estimate.

Do you move furniture?

We ask that large furniture be moved before our arrival when possible. We can assist with smaller pieces on a case-by-case basis. Let us know your situation when you book.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Korr Floors operates as a licensed LLC in Indiana and carries liability insurance on all jobs.

Pricing & Payments

How much does flooring installation cost?

It varies by floor type, room size, and subfloor condition. We don't give price ranges without seeing your space because they're almost always misleading. A free in-home estimate gives you an accurate number.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, check, Zelle, and financing through Synchrony HOME for qualified buyers.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

We collect a deposit upon signing the estimate to secure your installation date and cover material costs. The balance is due upon completion.

Materials & Products

Do I buy my own materials or do you supply them?

We can work either way. Some clients source their own materials. Others prefer we handle it. We'll discuss this at your estimate and make a recommendation based on your project.

What flooring brands do you recommend?

We work with several trusted brands and can make product-specific recommendations based on your needs and budget at your estimate.

What is the difference between LVP and laminate?

LVP (luxury vinyl plank) has a 100% waterproof plastic core. Laminate has a wood-fiber core and is only water-resistant. LVP is the better choice for kitchens, basements, and homes with pets or kids. Laminate is a solid option for dry, lower-traffic areas where budget is the primary concern.

Subfloor & Prep

What if my subfloor is in bad shape?

We address it before any floor goes in. We'll identify all subfloor issues at your estimate and include the required prep work in your quote. No surprises.

Do I need a moisture barrier?

We work with several trusted brands and can make product-specific recommendations based on your needs and budget at your estimate.
